The Trippel family's estate on Lake Maltschach, very close to the Moosburg golf course in Pörtschach, is one of the new locations not far from Lake Wörthersee for slowing down and enjoying. Spoiled by wine and fine gastronomy, the "TrippelGUT" represents an oasis of peace.
Due to the elevated location in the midst of its own vineyards (630 meters above sea level) of the second largest winery in Carinthia, you can relax on the panoramic terraces until well into the night. This results in classic dishes of Carinthian cuisine, but also tasting menus that promise sensory highlights.
The in-house Carinthian wines, which are continuously awarded in international competitions, represent in combination with the specially produced herbs another point of attraction. Especially as a bad weather alternative, the guided tours and tastings followed by a meal in Carinthia's largest show wine cellar are very popular. In addition, you also have the option of enjoying the wines with a regional vintner's snack or simply lingering on the panorama terrace, from which you can see across the entire Klagenfurt basin to the Pyramidenkogel.
An absolute insider tip is the "SchlafGUT". It consists of 14 winegrower suites, which captivate with their generous dimensions, modern furnishings and especially the orientation to the south, offering a breathtaking view over the vineyards. It should not be forgotten that weddings can also be held at the "TrippelGUT" - civil in the vineyards or religious in the Briefelsdorf church, which is just a three-minute walk away.
The wines here are divided into three lines: "Alpenwein" (light and easy-drinking, invigorating and fruity), "Privat" (site and vineyard wines) and "AndaS" (Natural/Orange Wine) - just try it!
